Surf lessons start with land instruction that covers proper surfing techniques, such as paddling, positioning yourself on the board, standing, wave selection, and surf etiquette. We then move to the water for the second part of the lesson. After the lesson is finished the student may use the surfboard for an addtional hour of independent practice time.
