The Best Surf Lessons in Ormond Beach are at Surfari Surf School. We are located in Ormond Beach, FL which is just one mile north of Daytona Beach. Much like all great schools, we have talented and experienced instructors! Our instructors are veteran surfers with decades of surfing experience.
What’s Included in Surf Lessons:
- 1 or 1.5 hours of surf instruction.
- Use of surfboard and leash.
- Use of wetsuit and/or rashguard t-shirt.
- 1 extra hour of independent practice time after the instructor’s lesson.
Surf Lesson Rates:
- Group Surf Lesson – $69.00 Per Person – [3-5] to 1 students to instructor ratio. *Must bring your own group*
- Semi-Private Lesson – $79.00 Per Person – 2 to 1 students to instructor ratio.
- Private Surf Lesson – $99.00 Per Person- 1 to 1 student to instructor ratio.
Surf Lesson Times:
- 7 days a week.
- 9:00am, 11:00am, 1:00pm, and 2:30pm Daily
With decades of experience, we have come up with a unique way of teaching people to surf!
Surf lessons start with a land lesson that covers proper surfing techniques, such as paddling, positioning yourself on the board, standing, wave selection, and surf etiquette. We will also discuss the day’s surf conditions and how they will affect the students and ocean safety.
When the land lesson is over students will go into the ocean with the instructor to practice the skills they learned. After the surf lesson, students may keep the equipment for 1 extra hour of independent practice time.
Other Activities:
In addition, you can explore the ocean or Halifax River in Ormond Beach on a Stand-Up Paddleboard or Surfboard rental,or on land with a Beach Cruiser or Electric Bike rental from Surfari Surf School. We offer hourly, daily, and weekly rates for all our equipment. We have all the latest equipment available.
